Life has taken a dramatic turn after I left California… It became tremendously fun!
After teaching English in Taipei for a year, I decided to move on and considered moving back to California or Colorado. Don’t get me wrong, Taipei is definitely an exciting, fun, and exhilarating city to live in. However, it wasn’t for me. I decided to ride my blue dolphin scooter around the entire island before I leave.
One of the best trip in my life.
Ever since then, I backpacked in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, lived in Kaohsiung for 2 years, Hualien for 2 summers, explored countless beautiful waterfalls, islands, secret trails, river tracing/canyoning in crystal clear rivers, rode my scooter through numerous off the beaten path, camped in the wild/police stations/elementary schools/hot springs/cold springs/etc…, showered at fire stations, and met some extremely friendly locals. Yes, Taiwan is beautiful, but the most beautiful part of this country is the people.
