Connecting through videoconferencing technology, the Indiana State Museum has the ability to reach out to audiences from 20 locations throughout the museum. Whether we’re standing below a 1914 Dusenberg racecar or behind the scenes in our conservation lab, your students will be able to explore with us the worlds of art, science and culture. Watch as the camera becomes your classroom to reveal Ice Age animals, a Native American wigwam, original works of art and rare artifacts.
We are dedicated to providing unique and entertaining educational experiences by ensuring that each program is designed using curriculum standards and includes interactive components and resources to enhance learning. All distance–learning programs are one hour in length and are available to grades 2 – 12, libraries and retirement communities. All distance learning programs fulfill selected Indiana Academic Standards.
