Provider's Events:
1. View Gadget Works - Professor Gadgeteer guides students in grades 2-6 through an exploration of simple machines by observing the motion of wind-up toys, taking the toys apart and putting them back together again. Each program includes hands-on materials for 30 students that will be used during the 45-60 minute show and materials for many additional hours of in-class activities.
2. View Surgical Suite: Total Knee Replacement - Watch live surgery via videoconferencing! Students will be given a powerful learning experience by interacting with the surgeons and medical personnel in the operating room. Students will receive an information guide on total knee replacement surgery and the careers associated with the operating room. Teachers receive an information packet and materials for pre- and post-experience activities for the classroom. The kit includes enough materials for 30 students. Adult and community groups welcome.

Students will be given a powerful learning experience by interacting with the surgeons and medical personnel in the operating room. Students will receive an information guide on heart surgery and the careers associated with the operating room. Teachers receive an information packet and materials for pre- and post-experience activities for the classroom. The kit includes enough materials for 30 students. Adult and community groups welcome.
4. View Videoconference Teacher Training - Connect to COSI Columbus' fun and interactive teacher training session. This session introduces teachers to COSI's videoconferencing programs and includes hands-on activities for the videoconference session. You will receive the kit of materials needed for the hands-on activities. This is a great opportunity to overview our Electronic Education programs and to discuss your needs with our Team.
5. View In Depth: Autopsy - See a real autopsy from start to finish! Students will have a truly memorable learning experience by asking questions and interacting with a forensic pathologist, while watching a taped, ninety-minute autopsy. Students receive an information guide on the autopsy procedure and associated careers. Teachers receive an information packet and materials for pre- and post-experience activities for the classroom to allow their students to solve for cause of death. The kit includes enough materials for 30 students. Adult and community groups are welcome.
6. View Experts - Spend time with practicing professionals primarily in the areas of science, math, and technology. Each Expert session begins with a 20-30 minute presentation followed by questions from the students. The cost includes a test connection, the session with the expert, and biographical and subject information that will be sent out ahead of time. We recommend the students prepare questions in advance of the videoconference. This is a multipoint connection, with up to five connections or approximately 150 students.
