The Cape May County Park and Zoo is located in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. With over two-hundred wooded acres, it's a park and zoo in one. The Zoo covers eighty acres including an African Savanna boardwalk, tropical World of Birds, Amphibians and Reptile House, and many other beautifully displayed exhibits. The remaining acres hold a recreation park with walking paths, playgrounds, bike trails, gardens and a fishing pond. It's home to nearly 600 animals with a large collection of mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians. The zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. in the summer months and closes at 3:45 p.m. during the winter months. The park is open from 9:00 a.m. to dusk year-round. Admission to the zoo is free, though donations are always greatly appreciated!
